Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Sumud Way, Coaching and Therapy. By booking any session, program, or service, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms ensure a professional, ethical, and respectful engagement between The Sumud Way and our clients.
2. Scope of Services
The Sumud Way provides coaching, therapy, and emotional healing services designed for personal growth, resilience, and well-being. These services are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or legal advice. If you require medical or psychological treatment, please consult a licensed healthcare provider.
3. Confidentiality & Privacy
All client information is treated with strict confidentiality. This applies even if multiple family members are involved in the sessions. Confidentiality will be maintained under the following conditions:
- There is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
- Disclosure is required by law.
- Written consent is provided by the client for specific disclosures.
4. Booking & Payment
- All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
- Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Session packages must be used within one (1) year from the first appointment.
- Payment for sessions does not guarantee immediate appointment availability. Scheduling is subject to availability.
- Failure to attend scheduled sessions without proper notice may result in the session being forfeited.
5. No Refund Policy
- Due to the nature of our services, all payments are final. No refunds will be issued once a session or package has been booked.
- If you miss a scheduled session without prior notice, it will be considered as used and cannot be rescheduled.
- Rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
6. Client Responsibility
- Coaching and therapy require commitment and active participation.
- Clients are responsible for implementing insights, strategies, and techniques provided during sessions.
- The Sumud Way does not guarantee specific outcomes, as results depend on individual effort, engagement, and circumstances.
- While we provide tools and techniques to help manage urgent situations, our role is not to act as crisis intervention or emergency responders. Coaching and therapy are meant for long-term growth rather than short-term crisis resolution.
7. Code of Conduct
- Mutual respect is expected in all interactions.
- Any form of disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will result in termination of services without a refund.
8. Services for Minors
- Clients under the age of 18 must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian before beginning any coaching or therapy services.
- Parents or guardians may be required to attend an initial consultation.
9. Professionalism & Approach
- While my approach may sometimes be casual and approachable, this does not diminish my qualifications, experience, or professionalism. Sessions are conducted with expertise, structure, and care to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- I am not a healer; I am a facilitator, guiding you through the process of self-discovery and emotional healing. Trust in the process is essential for effective growth.
10. Price & Value
- While my prices may be higher than some alternatives in the market, this reflects the quality and depth of the services I provide. You are paying for my expertise, and many clients find that they require shorter periods of engagement with me than with other providers due to the efficiency and results-driven nature of my work.
- My pricing is structured based on the outcomes achieved, ensuring you get the value of the results, not just the time spent in each session.
11. Limitation of Liability
- The Sumud Way is not responsible for outcomes beyond the scope of our services.
- We do not guarantee specific results, and clients assume responsibility for their progress.
12. Amendments to Terms
These terms may be updated as needed. Clients are encouraged to review them periodically. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of any modifications.
